Congratulations, Franklin Military Academy, on the National ESEA Distinguished Schools Program Recognition!

At a ceremony in Denver, Colorado, FMA was recognized in February 2026 as one of only two schools to represent Virginia for exceptional student performance for two consecutive years.

The 2026 Heritage Fest is coming on Saturday, July 25th, from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Masjid Bilal on Chimborazo & Marshall streets. The theme is One World One Humanity.  Vendors, reserve your space today. Dare to take a dive into the Summer CTE Exploration program open to all RPS 9th & 10th Graders at the Richmond Technical Center from June 8th to June 22nd, from Monday to Thursday, 8:15 am- 3:45 pm.  The programs offered include: cosmetology, nail tech, barbering, automotive, pharmacy, vet science, culinary, baking & pastry. There will be fun, hands-on, interactive learning experiences.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Upsilon Omega Chapter, in collaboration with Zenobia's Promise Foundation, is initiating the 2026 Debutante Project: A Midwinter Night's Dream. Join! This is open to Fall 2026 High School Juniors & Seniors. Register for a virtual information session using this link. The virtual information sessions are scheduled for April 18th, May 16th, and June 13th, 2026.  In-person orientation will be held on June 27, 2026.
