Happening at Franklin Military

The application process for new cadets to Franklin Military Academy will commence on Saturday, January 17th, 2025 from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additional dates are Wednesday, January 22ndfrom 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, February 8th, from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,  The interviewing process involves oral and written communication.

Graduation is quickly approaching. Franklin Military Seniors will have an opportunity to participate in the Richmond Public Schools Career Exploration Fair on February 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the Dewey Gottwald Center 2301 W. Leigh St. Richmond, Va. 23220.  Transportation will be provided.  The Career Exploration Fair includes 50+ Employers, Careers in CTE Clusters, Internship Opportunities, Trade School Information, Apprenticeships, Information on Jobs After College, and Summer Jobs.

The Richmond Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will sponsor the 35th Annual L. Rita Davis Oratorical Contest on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at River City Middle School at 6300 Hull Street Road Richmond, Virginia 23224.  The theme is Lights, Camera, Orate!  Contact artsandletters.dsrichmond@gmail.com with any questions about the event.
